Magnets- The use of high-temperature superconductors in magnets allows:
- High magnetic field in a compact package – easing installation and overcoming spatial constraints
- Cryogen-free operation with system cooling provided by a closed-cycle cryocooler – no cryogen costs, handling or safety requirements
- Fast magnetic field-ramping allows higher throughput of samples
- The ability for the magnetic field to be varied or turned on and off with ease provides flexibility and the opportunity to relocate
NMR– HTS-NMR can be used for in-line chemical reaction monitoring, process control and quality assurance in a diverse range of industries
Cryocoolers– We can offer a range of specialist industrial cryocoolers targeted at the production of liquid nitrogen and oxygen for scientific and industrial use. With Industrial Research Ltd (a New Zealand government research institute) HTS-110 has developed this range of cryocoolers delivering efficient and reliable low-maintenance cooling from 20W–1000W @ 77K.
Custom systems– Our supplier has been designing and manufacturing HTS coils and other HTS components and sub-assemblies since its inception. Efficient product development combined with excellence in engineering and rapid prototyping allow us to provide the capability to deliver standard and custom components quickly and efficiently. Custom design and manufacture acts as an incubator for next-generation products such as compact MRI systems.
